Gadget Week 4 & Sunny was a major channel event on TimmyTurnersGrandDad that occurred on the third anniversary of the Gary the Gadget Bot Takeover. In it, Gary the Gadget Bot took over the channel again.

Summary[]

The event started with rips of and/or featuring "Gadget Room" from Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force much like the original event. However, after six rips, the lore video "[VIDEOLOG: 9:00, HOME_LOUNGE]" was uploaded. This video transitioned the channel to the actual event, which is no longer related to "Gadget Room" at all and from this point on, almost all rips are instead of and/or featuring "100 Sunny" from OMORI. After the switch to "100 Sunny", the lightbulb on Gary the Gadget Bot's head turned on referencing the title screen of OMORI.

Just like the original event, the "Ripper:" metadata in the description was changed to "Joke:" and the event schedule was a bi-hourly one, initially being hourly (ending on "100 Sunny (Short Version) - OMORI"). The event's catchphrase was initially "Please arrange the track in the key of C Minor.", but after the switch to "100 Sunny", it was changed to "Please arrange the track in the key of C Major.", to reference the key of "100 Sunny" rather than the key of "Gadget Room". Many rippers were also credited with OMORI-related aliases, such as "679 Sunny", "SunnyFan100", "GuyFromOmori23", "KeIFan23", "SunnyTheGuy", etc.

Activities[]

  • On May 16, every rip uploaded was from Undertale and Deltarune, similarly to the original event when May 16 exclusively featured Undertale rips. These were uploaded on an hourly schedule.
  • At the start of May 18, rips of and featuring other OMORI tracks were uploaded, similarly to how other Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force songs were used on May 25-26 during the original event. Rips of OMORI featuring "100 Sunny" as the joke were uploaded with the mix name "In-Game Version". This did not last the entire date, however, as later on, TTGD did a cross-event collaboration with SiIvaGunner and VvvvvaVvvvvvr, who were similarly doing single-source events, though they ended before this one did.
  • On May 22, all of the rips uploaded were "100 Sunny" equivalents to existing rips that featured "Gadget Room". Some rips at the start of this this date were uploaded on an hourly schedule.
  • Aubrey's Birthday: Some rips on May 23rd celebrated the birthday of Aubrey from OMORI. Notably, some of these rips didn't feature "100 Sunny", although they were OMORI rips.
  • Counting Sunnies: On a half-hourly schedule, the channel began uploading "100 Sunny" rips with decreasing numbers, starting from "99 Sunny - OMORI" and going down to "0 Sunny - OMORI", which each rip's logo image becoming darker, reaching BLACK SPACE at "0 Sunny - OMORI". This started on the night of May 26th and lasted until May 28th. On the night of May 27, after "50 Sunny - OMORI", the avatar changed to a BLACK SPACE variant. After "0 Sunny - OMORI", a few rips with random numbers were uploaded.
  • After the upload of "6 AM (In-Game Version) - Five Nights at Freddy's 3", the avatar changed to an angry Gadget Bot in front of the ANGRY EMOTION background from OMORI. Rips of and/or rips featuring "100 Sunny" resumed as normal on an hourly schedule. For the next three days, at 7 AM, a "100 Sunny" rip would also be posted under the mix name "THREE/TWO/ONE DAYS LEFT", indicating how much time was supposedly left for the event.
    • Four rips of Baldi's Basics Plus with "100 Sunny" as the joke were uploaded between 2 to 4 PM, one every half-hour.
  • On May 31, after "Food Shop (In-Game Version) - Tomodachi Collection", rips were posted on a half-hourly schedule. By 3 PM on June 1, rips were posted every fifteen to thirty minutes.
  • After "100 Sunny (GOOD ENDING)" was posted at midnight on June 2, the avatar changed to a shut down Gadget Bot in BLACK SPACE, the banner was also changed to a BLACK SPACE variant. The upload scheduled slowed down dramatically, leading many people to believe the event was over.
  • At 3PM on June 2, "Stage Select - Mega Man 3" was posted.
  • After "Want You Gone - Portal 2" was uploaded, the channel took a break for the next day.
  • At 9PM on June 4, the event finally ended with the release of the album TimmyTurnersGrandSun.
  • From June 4 until June 22, the channel took a break. No rips were uploaded during this period with the exception of "Guilty Night, Guilty Kiss! (Digital Re-Release) - Love Live! School idol festival".
