Rips Done Quality 2022 was a channel event on TimmyTurnersGrandDad which occured during January 9-16, 2022. It is a sequel to Rips Done Quality 2017 and a tribute to the speedrun charity marathon Awesome Games Done Quick.

On January 8th, 2022, all uploads were halted, and a community post was made, which said "Meet back here in 24 hours.". TTGD's profile picture and channel banner were subsequently changed to all black. On January 9th, prior to the upload of "Sonic Mania - Flying Battery Zone Act 2 (any%) by ykh in 2:54 - RDQ2022", the avatar and banner were changed to hint at the polka-dot pattern aesthetic of the event. After the upload of "Sonic Mania - Flying Battery Zone Act 2 (any%) by ykh in 2:54 - RDQ2022", the event was fully revealed with another community post.[link needed]
Like with its predecessor, rips were uploaded with unique metadata reminiscent of clips uploaded to the Games Done Quick YouTube channel after the charity marathons conclude. All rips featured a livestream-esque border, with the channel's name being changed to "Rips Done Quality" and the channel description being changed to "Earth-shatteringly awesome speedruns and free awesomesauce... What more does one need?".
After the event, the channel took a week long break.
