Beginning of The Dire Dimmsdale Dilemma

The beginning of The Dire Dimmsdale Dilemma is a channel event that took place on TimmyTurnersGrandDad. It started in April 2022 to accompany the eponymous video series. Many sub-events occurred during this event.

Summary[]

On April 17 an "announcement" video was uploaded and premiered. It was lore video continuing from the Icky Vicky Day lore video, and Vicky's post. After Vicky left the channel due to her knowing that TTGD videos are not monetized, a man with a suspicious suit gets inside TTGD's house who is later revealed to be TTGD's neighbour, Dinkleberg. He gets in control of the channel and uploads rips. The channel description got changed to "A collection of video game music that is much better, and of much higher quality than others." and the profile picture was changed to show Dinkleberg instead of TTGD.

After the "Ken Ashcorp's Birthday" event, due to Dinkleberg running "an errand", the channel stopped uploading, leaving the channel without a host. On January 6th, a new community post was posted, announcing that the first episode of The Dire Dimmsdale Dilemma was 90% complete. Alongside this, the channel's profile picture changed back to TimmyTurnersGrandDad with a comic showing he returned, with Dinkleberg nowhere in sight.

The event's title alliteration and setup most likely references SiIvaGunner's Christmas Comeback Crisis event.

The entire event's rips seem to have no theme nor a relation to the event at all with only the rips accompanying a catchphrase that reads "Hey neighbor! Check out that channel description!" and a comment from Dinkleberg on a few rips. However while these rips did not relate to the event at all. The event focus wasn't the rips but rather the episodic series "The Dire Dimmsdale Dilemma". These are a viewable series of lore videos showing the story.

On January 6, 2023, there were announced to be close to 5 episodes in total for the series. Most of these episodes have not been uploaded yet.
